UP government launches micro-website to attract investors for defence corridor and production
Website was inaugurated by the state cabinet minister for the industrial development department, Satish Mahana at Aero India in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
LUCKNOW: Encashing the opportunity at Aero India 2021-22 to attract large number of investors especially from foreign nations, the UP government have launched micro-website for Uttar Pradesh defence industrial corridor.
The site http://upeida.in/updic/index.html will give the investors access to all latest policies and updates on the corridor such as incentives, land plots available, information regarding existing infrastructure, network at nodes, policies and guidelines for the state government ambitious project.

Website was inaugurated by the state cabinet minister for the industrial development department, Satish Mahana at Aero India in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
“The existing websites like of UPEIDA were too much cluttered with many information which any investors would find it difficult to browse through for particular information and interaction on defence corridor project, therefore a new dedicated micro website was developed. The content shared on website will aid investors in making informed decisions while selecting the node which best suits their requirement for of defence corridor,” said Durgesh Upadhaya the media advisor of UPEIDA.
The website is also linked to various other state and central websites, and details about investors which are part of Uttar Pradesh industrial development authority.
After the launch of website, union defence minister Rajnath Singh expressed his confidence UP defence corridor will attract foreign investors and further will open new doors of development and growth in the state.
While Satish Mahan emphasised state strong policies to support the business-oriented vision of various entrepreneurs, start-ups, MSMEs and large companies. He later met Indian Air Force officials and congratulated them for signing the MoU with UPDIC.
