Dutch Ambassador to discuss proposals with Armenia to support new programs in Syunik

ArmInfo. At a meeting with the  Governor of the Syunik region, Robert Ghukasyan, the Ambassador of  the Netherlands to Armenia, Marieke Harriet Monroy-Winter, reaffirmed  her willingness to discuss potential proposals with the Armenian side  to support new programs in Syunik.

As reported by the press service of the Syunik Governor's Office,  Ghukasyan provided Marieke Monroe- Winter with general information  about the region, focusing on the main areas of the Syunik economy.  He expressed gratitude for the programs already being implemented in  the region with the support of the Netherlands, emphasizing the  importance of Syunik's participation in the "Sustainable Syunik -  Team Europe" initiative. In turn, the Ambassador noted that the Dutch  government actively supports efforts to establish lasting peace in  the South Caucasus and encourages democratic reforms in Armenia.  According to the source,  the parties also discussed other  mutual  interests during the meeting.
